Byron Walls started out in the 60s as a member of the San Francisco folk trio, 'The Travellers,' working at the Purple Onion and Hungry i nightclubs. Later he spent a year with the New Christy Minstrels and in the mid-70s toured with Glenn Yarbrough and the Limeliters as the fourth voice and in-house songwriter (they recorded 6 of his songs). In the 70s and 80s he lived in LA and Nashville writing songs for Emmy Lou Harris, Andy Williams, Ronnie Milsap, Burl Ives, Ed Ames, Ronnie Milsap, The Kendalls. This is a collection of his best songs in the folk-country genre from those years. Byron also has a CD of his jazzier songs called, Calm, Cool, and Collected.
