Michael Britton began playing guitar at age 9, by 12 he was in a gigging band and recording songs. Raised in Pasadena, California he joined local band 'Headwinds' who played in concert with Van Halen at the Pasadena Exhibition Hall numerous times. In 1980 Britton hooked up with pre-Crue drummer Tommy Lee and started 'Dealer'. In the mid-late 80's 'Britton' was established with Michael Britton, Bassist Greg Chaisson (later to join Jake E. Lee), ex-Dokken and ex-Great White Drummer Gary Holland, and Lead Guitarist Jim McMellen. In 1988 Britton signed with CBS sub; TSR Records and released 'Rock Hard' which was added to 52 AOR radio stations coast to coast, including KNAC in Long Beach, and in Europe. 'Alien Romper Room' is the most recent Britton hard rock album, and stays true to the melodic hard rock 80's sound. Other Britton releases include 'Rock Harder', 'Unleashed', and '10 Best Of The West'. Michael Britton is a professional musician, songwriter, and publisher registered with ASCAP, plays multiple instruments, writes in several music genres, produces and engineers his music.
