Between Here & Heaven
Brighton is a singer/songwriter who spent most of his youth in England writing and performing all over Great Britain. Eventually, Brighton moved to the East Coast becoming extremely popular in the Washington, D.C. music scene and playing in places like Washington's '9:30 Club' and performing along side acts including the Tom Tom Club, Blondie, Flock of Seagulls, and Julien Lennon before sell-out audiences. Brighton was twice nominated best vocalist and best unsigned band by WAMA (Washington Area Music Association) before moving to Los Angeles, where he became the famous Persian-American singer/songwriter 'Farshid Amin' writing songs in English, Spanish and Farsi. Brighton's latest collection of songs 'Between Here and Heaven' written in English is a testament to his writing versatility. His rich lyrics relating to the artists personal experiences capture audiences of all ages, and touch people in a personal way. With his simple, yet deep, lyrics and passionate sound with British and American- Midwestern undertones, Brighton's songs make a lasting impression on the listener.
