Product notities

Texas Music: In the summer of 2006 along Highway 50 at the International Cafe in Austin, Nevada the bartender described what I was playing as "Texas Music". This term fairly reflects the acoustic counter country folk rock sound that seems to find it's way through my voice, guitar, and song selection. Texas Music pays homage to my Austin roots and calls out the experiences and memories that only miles on long straight Texas roads can inspire. Artists and Influences: In addition to my original material I have over 4 hours of music by artists such as Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Todd Snider, Tim O'brien, Del McCoury, Robert Earle Keen, Greg Brown, Cracker, Bob Marley, John Prine, Lyle Lovett, Loudon Wainwright III, Shawn Colvin, Tom Petty, Tom Waits, The Who, Guy Clark, Joe Ely, Towns Van Zandt, Fred Eaglesmith, and on and on and on... My music is further influenced by Neil Young, Public Enemy, Medeski-Martin-and Wood, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Jimmy Cliff, The Skatalites, James McMurtry, The Mermen, Pato Banton, Propeller Heads, Taj Mahal, Leo Kotke, Tragically Hip, and Webb Wilder.
