All the tunes on Rendezvous were written by Brad Ellenberg. The genre is jazz, but the CD reflects a variety of styles from straight ahead to Funk/Rock. Rendezvous begins with the straight-ahead 'In A Familiar Way', and then moves to the 1960's groove 'Still In Question'. From there the ballad 'What Was, What Could Have Been' segues into the funk/rock 'Bring It On!' This is followed up by the Latin 'September Breeze', which then leads to the Louis Armstrong influenced 'Images of Louis'. Enter next the first of two blues, 'Upstairs At Potter's Crossing', followed by 1960's groove-influenced 'Struttin'. What comes next is the beautiful ballad 'A Moment Shared Between Us', which is then followed up by the second blues tune 'Waiting on You'. The CD ends as it began with the straight-ahead 'Some Other Time'.
