Change in the Wind
As a singer-songwriter, Brad Clinton is reminiscent of Cat Stevens, Dan Fogelberg and fellow Bostonian James Taylor. Brad's music shows the influences of his rock, folk and blues background. Rockabye, which won an award in a Billboard Magazine song contest, is an example of an 'unplugged' rock ballad in this tradition. A five star review from a fan posted on amazon.com: 'I have this album and I love it. It's definitely easy listening. My favorite songs are As long As We Live, Change In The Wind and Rockabye. The words to most of the songs are very poignant and sometimes move me to tears. I do highly recommend this album for people who like James Taylor type of music, no one will be disappointed.' This album is best described as a wide range of easy listening rock music, from acoustic ballads to the 'plugged in' styles of classic rock. Guest players on the album include Jaydee Maness on steel guitar; Jaydee was the steel guitar player on the studio version of Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven. Other special guests that worked on the album include Peter Simon, a distinguished photographer and brother of singer-songwriter Carly Simon. Peter photographed Brad on Martha's Vineyard Island in Massachusetts for the CD artwork.
