Auto-Biography of a Jamaican Slave
I received tremendous success with my last rap/hip-hop album Unleash The Beast but unfortunately I did not appeal to all audiences in my music. This album Auto-Biography Of A Jamaican Slave touches all bases. I went beyond the standard routine of making a rap/hip-hop album with twelve to fourteen songs and stretched this album to eighteen tracks. If your appetite is love songs I got it, if it is gangster music I got it, club music I got it. Basically I have the best of all emotions captured in this album. Production wise I wanted more instruments and less samples. I wanted classical beats rather than gutter beats. To satisfy everyone I took classical music and mixed it with gutter music. I also stepped it up lyrically. If you purchased my last album comparing that to this album I have growned lyrically. Better topics, better words, better phrases. Many rap/hip-hop albums are filled with dance beats with no meaning and no lyrical talent. Not to put anyone's project down, I just feel like you cheat your listeners when you do not cover all bases in your music. There are four stages to this rap/hip-hop album. The Introduction stage where I introduce myself. The Gun stage where I feel I will kill everything I put my hands on. Basically do everything to the best of your ability. The third stage is the Cry stage where I show my emotional side, my inner most feelings and thoughts. The last stage is the Curse stage where getting money and trying to elevate your lifestyle makes you a cursed person in the eyes of people filled with envy, jealousy, and hate. Focus on the words because everyday you will like a different song depending on your state of mind. Get ready for an exciting rap/hip-hop album filled with lyrical domination.
