No More Monsters
Bomberman Awesome is an innovative rock band based out of Seattle. Scott Roots from Usounds.com says their sound is "twisting, textured, quirky and relentlessly catchy..." On their upcoming EP, No More Monsters, they experiment heavily with retro keys, electronic beats, and pop melodies, dark yet bright in emotional hue. Bomberman Awesome is a collaboration of highly positive, diverse musicians - Paul Charlie on lead vocals and bass, Daniel Fallou on guitar, Mark Stith on the keyboard, and Carlos Soto on drums. Together, they have sculpted the perfect sound. Packed with signature thrills and hooky melodies, Bomberman Awesome's music is easily identified by listeners in blind taste tests across the Northwest. In the summer of 2002, Bomberman Awesome earned their first chance to play the Ernie Ball stage on Warped Tour (they earned their second chance the following summer). In March 2003, they opened for the Irish punk legends, Flogging Molly, at the Brick Breeden Field House at Montana State University, spreading their name statewide. In the summer of 2004, the founding members relocated from Bozeman, Montana to Seattle, Washington for better exposure. They have self-released two full-length albums and one EP on their private label, Recordland Records, totaling sales and giveaways of nearly 3,000 copies.
