Bob Keeton is a Wellington, New Zealand based professional Artist and Musician who's Weekly Diary can show him performing Classical Recitals one day and filling in for an sick Member of a Tribute Band to giving a solo rock performance is a Club or Hotel Bar. He is also a composer and has a Univerity Degree in Classical Music so he has both the skills and technical knowledge behind him. Written, performed and produced by Bob Keeton at his Q-Labs Studio, the extra Polish here has been achieved with the use of other Studios for more complex work. Life Of Riley Studios and STL Music Studios, both of Wellington, New Zealand, have helped give this Album the professional sound befitting such great songs. Since Tree Records went International, Bob has worked with Chris Adams of the UK to issue a Fund Raising digital version of Kansas' 'Dust In The WInd' and also arranged and performed the additional backings on Andy Hearn's song 'Open Up Your Mind' from the 'Electric Dreams' Single. Andy is also a Brit from Blackpool, England. 'Forty Years Ago' is going to become THE 40th Anniversary Song while 'Perfection' could be a missing song from 'Phantom Of The Opera. 'Distant Horizon' is for foot tappers while 'Public Enemy Number One' offers a more dry humor to the collection of well executed songs. This is definitely Bob Keeton's best release to date. It's more focused and coherent without losing that quirky Lyrics that define Bob as a composer. His great sense of humor is never far from the surface either. Take the line from 'Public Enemy Number One' when he asks has the Crowd gathered for a major event? His casual reply is 'Oh no, just a Public Hanging.' Check out his hard copy CD release 'Stronger' here at CD Baby. The title track has generated good sales since it's release.
