'Beat Me' is a percussion song - not a lifestyle statement! 'Stop' is a moving number with very nice electric piano (and more) and changing and interesting drums. 'Alone' is expressive blues. 'Perk' is a structured upbeat song which moves with interesting additions and changes. 'Who's Crying Now' is blues again, with the title taken from the dominant phrase. 'Thick' -- a brief piano interlude, change of scene. 'Surrender' is more of a rock song, the title coming not only from the emotions it seeks to evoke and which motivated it, but also from the bass drum (you'll see). 'Bagged' is an evolving, constant tempo, electronic song, with instrumentation added to and subtracted from, and on top of, the driving theme. 'Grate' is a brief heavy interlude. 'Caravan' has a percussion-type base and alternating and interacting strings and synth.
