Old Is New Recorded Live at Eps
Starting at the age of 14, self-taught musician Bill Cruz forged his own unique playing sound and style mimicking some of the guitar greats of the late 80s and early 90s. After building a solid reputation among fellow musicians and years of playing the local New York City club scene, Bill left the music business in the late 1990s to pursue other interests. After more than a decade away from music, Bill returned as a performer, producer and engineer with recording artists M3 and their 2008 release, 'Sonic Ritual.' Returning to live performance in 2009 with the Pagan rock band Witch's Mark, he looks forward to recording with them later this year. As 2010 opened, Bill released his solo effort "Old is New, Live at EPS." Eight of the songs on 'Old is New' were recorded live, single take to two track tape at EPS studios in Brooklyn, New York, and are prime examples of Bill's musicianship and arrangement skills.
