Somewhere between the past and the distant future, at the sonic cross-roads of Detroit and Vienna, lay the sound stories brewing in the head of 23 year old beat navigator Paul Movahedi, also known as The Clonious. His early 12's disappeared smartly from our shelves prior to this album and DJs from Helskinki to Tokyo, London to New York also gave thumbs up to his unique blend of bouncy and glitchy shoegazer funk. On Between the Dots he continues his development of sounds that are at once new and classic, soulful, striking, organic and electronic.
