Award-winning Gospel Singer and Evangelist Benny Greenlee was born in Hobbs, New Mexico where he has lived for 41 of his 51 years. He left Hobbs for 10 years to pastor and evangelize but returned to Hobbs in 1985 where he has been Pastor for the last 21 years. Benny is an accomplished musician with an anointing to lead in praise and worship. He has been singing since 1978 when he made his commitment to Christ. He has traveled extensively throughout the southern and western United States ministering in music and the Word. He has opened for such groups as: The Kingsmen, Heavenbound, The Wilburns, The Toney Brothers, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps, The Segos, Golden Covenant, The New Hinsons and many others. Benny was awarded the "People's Choice Award" in 1999 by the Country Gospel Music Association Southwestern Division, and was named "Horizon Male Vocalist of the Year" in 2001 by the Country Gospel Connection. His first single release to national and international radio, "Feed My Sheep" has charted #19 on the CGC Top 100 Chart and is being played all over the United States and throughout western Europe and is charted #1 in Malta. Benny's first project "He is Mine" is and has been played around the country. Benny also completed a second project "A Voice in the Wind" in the spring of 2002 and has once again charted songs as well. Benny released his Third and newest project in 2006, "Momma's Favorites" ( all songs were picked by Benny's Mother). Any or all of these projects will surely be a blessing to anyone.
