Bank Holiday Jez heralds from darkest Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. Armed with a uniquely tuned guitar, a drum machine and a bag full of humorous lyrics, he has been impressing audiences aplenty up and down the U.K. since 2008. The material is best described as country bumpkin alternative rock, with a pinch of folk, a dab of punk and a medium slice of hogwash. It's all wrapped up meticulously to bring a smile to the most rambunctious of characters. The subject matter is random, yet down to earth. Jez is a seasoned musician who has been playing in bands all his adult life most notably fronting 'The Adulescents U.K.' Gigs have taken him to venues such as the London Marquee, Liverpool Hannover, The Norwich Oval, Croyden cartoon, Nottingham Rock city, Leeds Duchess of York, and the Wakefield Beehive. He has enjoyed radio airplay both locally and abroad, including Turmoil radio (New York) and several European radio stations. The Farmyard rock CD is currently being enjoyed by great grandads and great babies alike. Other releases include 'Mr Blair is on the dole', a 4 track CD single and a christmas CD, which is an LP of carols. A full range of cover versions can be included at live shows. It's good clean imaginative tomfoolery fit for all listeners.
