In 2005, Azzie took to the stage and performed up and down the east coast causing havoc and again illustrating why he is one of the most dynamic ad complete entertainers on the planet. His journey would have him selected to open for notables like Keyshia Cole, JadaKiss and the DipSet. He would also perform at the release parties for Bobby Valentino and Memphis Bleek. He would showcase his talent amongst the likes of New York's elite unsigned artists in showcases hosted by Hot 97's K-Slay, The Inc. Records and Triple F Unlimited. To build his fan base Azzie is willing to do "What Ever It Takes!" and to prove it he is credited with over a hundred showcases, dozens of openers in 2005 alone. In 2006, rap legends "Naughty By Nature" watched Azzie perform, immediately after his set, they asked him to join them on stage and rock the sold out New York City crowd, they then allowed Azzie to freestyle his own verses to their already world renowned hits. In 2007, Azzie continued to execute brilliant music and make prolific moves toward his ultimate dream of stardom. The first song out the gate, titled "Out Ya System" became an instant classic. The song impacted people from around the world and gave fans a united voice that says change is good. With the help of creative consultant Jennifer Goldfarb, now of Atlantic Records, and the super producers of the Boogie Life Music camp Azzie struck gold again with two huge world wide underground hits. "Big Face" and "Paris" gave Azzie's fan base a taste of two very different feels. "Big Face" has a Deep South, Texas, chopped and screwed feel while "Paris" told a story of club encounters, fascinations, love and lust. Steadfast on the task at hand Azzie would team with Joey Warbucks of Triple F Unlimited to do remixes with icons like Beyounce Knowles, Musiq Soulchild, and Mary J Blige. Grabbing college attention with his music Azzie would venture to Boston to perform in front of a sold out Clark University audience at the "World Is Yours" event. Returning to New York, Azzie would perform at the "Lion's Den" a notorious Rock and Roll venue. Here Azzie would once again prove that engaging with the crowd wins audiences over, joined by Tess Da Young Diva, Ciph and A.D. Skolar, Azzie would keep the four hundred plus in attendance in suspense for thirty minutes. Azzie would close 2007 with a performance at the world renowned Sugar Bar owed by Ashford & Simpson. During this "Living Legends" event Azzie would pay tribute to the fans that make music what it is. Breaking down mid-way through his set Azzie changed his planned show and performed heart felt verses that gave the fans a taste of how hard it is to get the things you really truly want in life. Bridging the gap between the fans that work hard every day and the entertainers that wants the fans to love them and the music they put out. To date Azzie's fan base is numbered at over five thousand fans and growing, geographically stretching 4 countries and many of these United States. Azzie's current masterpiece contains radio ready, club bangers like "Soul Sauce!" and "Going Out My Mind" along with the street anthem "Roc Hop!" These are just three of the many diversified tracks on his upcoming digital release which is softly titled 'Soul Sauce!' Azzie's freestyles and songs are already receiving heavy rotation on mix tapes across the city and with labels wanting to know, to understand, what an artist is bringing to the table; one has no choice but to notice the voice that will change the industry and set the new standard of what an artist must have to appeal to the people across the globe today and for the years to come. Indeed Azzie is not just a sound, a style, or a flow. Azzie is an EXPERIENCE! For more information on Azzie and/or bookings contact Triple F Unlimited 212-465-3366.
