Annie was born and raised in the Chicago land area where she grew-up as the youngest of six children. Music played a big role in her family whether it was learning to jitterbug to the sounds of Gladys Knight, singing in the car on family trips to the Bee Gee's or pretending to be Olivia Newton-John with a hairbrush and a mirror. Annie discovered her love for live music and performance at the age of six when she saw her first professional musical, "Annie" in downtown Chicago. From that point on, She worked at honing her own vocal abilities by singing along with LP's of vocal influences such as Olivia, Dolly and others. It wasn't until high-school that Annie started taking her love for music more seriously when she studied voice and gained lead roles from freshman year through her senior years. Since then, Annie has never stopped singing! Thereafter, Annie has been a professional front female vocalist for a popular Chicago gigging band, recorded jingles for Chicago and national-based corporations, lead worship and solos for Willow Creek Community Church, participated in a variety of recording projects including: The Paul Langford Project and several Willow Creek sponsored albums including, 'Still I Will Worship You', 'Leave a Light On', 'One Life', 'Touch the Sky', '5-G Discovery', 'Looking at the Pieces' and others. Annie has also had the unique opportunity to sing both domestically and internationally with world-renowned Christian artists such as Tommy Walker, Darlene Zchech, Abe Laboriel, Justo Almario and Ron Kanoly. After ten years of witnessing first-hand the amazing power of God in worship and song, it was motivation for Annie to enter into the very personal and private process of writing music. Brighter Day is the culmination of songs written from her own personal Christian journey. It was recorded to inspire others to seek the presence of God in both the brilliant and dark moments of our lives.
