Child of Liberty
Child of Liberty has it's roots deep in the folk rock genre, drawing stylistically from such long time favorites as Michael Card, James Taylor, Susan Ashton and Jerry William's Harvest. From the driving song Stem of Jesse to the soulful Lord I Thank You to the classic worship ballad Cedar in Lebanon, Ms. Ciepluch weaves scripture and life experience into lyrical, singable expressions of love and life with the Lord. Recorded at Gaither and ZooWest Studios in Indiana, producer Steve Millikan once again hits a home run as he brings out the best in this singer/songwriter. Anne shares, 'These songs have been born out of worship and simply living daily with Jesus Christ. They are songs of liberty from everyday life! I am the type of person who remembers everything better when it is set to music - Can you relate?! I guess the Lord figured He wanted me to remember the lessons in these songs so He set them to music in my head!' Whether you are a worship leader looking for songs for a service, or simply looking for inspiration, there is something for you on this recording. Agreeing, Anne says, 'The diversity of style has really allowed me a wide realm of ministry opportunities. One of my favorites was having them translated into Russian when I was on the mission field in Moscow. There was a hunger there for Christian music and I thought it was cool that the music could provide a bond to cross cultural barriers. We truly are one in the body of Christ.' Take some time to listen and I'm sure that you too will find something to touch your heart in this project!
