Lord of Lords
True Reggae Praise is what Angela delivers here. She started singing when she was 7, in church. As the daughter of a Pentecostal pastor, she was taught to praise God '...in spirit, in truth and with all she has got.' So, Angela has always worshipped with unbelievable energy that has always encouraged and motivated her listeners. She has ministered before people like Pastor and Pastor Mrs. E A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, from whom she has been greeted with applause. She got a standing ovation at the Madison Square Garden New York in 2005 after a powerful and heart warming rendition of Pillars of Greatness at the release of her first album "Praise Him". 'I wrote my first song when I was going through trials. I looked back and after the cloud lifted and the storm calmed, there was still a song. God was still God, and He had come through like He always did, He from whom has always come my inspiration. He told me to encourage others too with those same songs He had given me,' says Angela. Angela, also known as 'Anjél' for her melodious voice, has captured a hybrid of power-packed songs in reggae and hip-hop style to challenge, lift up and encourage her listeners in Lord of Lords. It combines uplifting praises and upbeat tunes with reggae rap, R&B worship and hip hop praises for today's listeners. 'So many people want to listen to positive songs and contemporary music. This project delivers both. I wanted a CD I would be jammin' to and still be ministered to at the same time. And the Lord in His most glorious Holiness and love gave it to me in Lord of Lords.' Angela knows the pains and victories of birthing a dream. She attended Medical School in Kansas City, MO and is completing her residency. She travels around the country encouraging young people, who are a big part of her fan base, to serve God whole heartedly and to reach their maximum potentials.
