Almost Gone, formerly 'The Most', was formed by bassist Ben Heymer and drummer Steve Yagley in 2001 while attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Lead guitarist Galen Stevens was permanently added and a subsequent search for a guitarist/vocalist yielded Justin Delay. Experimentation prior to The Most included keyboardist Chris Fuller and guitarist Spencer Bastian. DeLay's earlier projects included 'Regina', a Roscommon, MI based hard-rock group. The band name was changed from 'The Most' to 'Almost Gone' in 2004, following the amicable departure of Stevens. The open position was filled by S.Yagley's twin brother and long-time friend of the band, Mike Yagley. Almost Gone continued performing in Ann Arbor until relocating to Royal Oak, Michigan in 2006. Once relocated, musical efforts were realigned towards the construction of a studio and tracking for the 'Autonomy' album. The band's current location is Chicago, IL.
