Born in PEI, Canada, Alli Walker's love for music and performing began at an early age with a drum battle in junior high against all boys. She then moved onto bagpiping where she won the North American Championships with her band, as well as went to the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow, Scotland, also receiving many individual awards. Alli was also involved in step dancing, highland dancing, Irish dancing, and modeling for print, and runway. Alli first started singing when she auditioned for her high school musical her senior year where she landed the lead female role as Ariel in Footloose. That summer she took her first singing lessons, and auditioned and made it into the Music Department at the University of Prince Edward Island as a vocal major. In 2008, Alli purchased an acoustic guitar, took lessons and began writing, playing and singing her own songs. This past summer while performing in a Dinner Theatre production where she sang, act, and played instruments 6 nights a week, she recorded her very first 4 song self-titled EP at Eutuxos studios in PEI. Upon moving to Toronto from PEI to make her music heard, she auditioned and made it all the way to top 2 out of 4000 entrants to be Much Music's Next VJ. Here she received lots of TV experience, and made and met many fans. During this hectic time her music career was put on hold, but her CD is finally finished and ready to all ears to hear. Her biggest influence with this EP would be Taylor Swift as she inspired Alli to pick up a guitar and start writing about experiences in her own life. It has a country, pop, rock feel so many can enjoy. Alli's main goal in life is to make country music for as long as she can for the world to hear and enjoy...so.. ENJOY!
