Allen Marshall picked up his first guitar at the age of eight, beginning a lifelong fascination with the instrument. Growing up in the Chicago area, Allen was exposed to a rich blend of rock, folk, blues, soul, and jazz, all of which have left an indelible impression that have help shape and inform his guitar playing. Allen attended the Berklee School of Music, in Boston MA, and graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology, Hollywood CA in 1979. After several tours with working bands and countless club dates, Allen turned his attention to the burgeoning L.A. original music scene in the '80s, lending his talents on many demo recordings and Hollywood stages for up and coming bands of the day. Allen continues performing today, and contributing guitar parts on a wide variety of recording projects.
