Tell Me How to Love You
ALIZMA's musical field or genre, narrowly defined, is World-Pop. This field of music bridges the increasing gap between classical music and pop, by introducing to pop elements of traditional classical violin. Pop with the sophistication of classical music, infused with ethnic melodies and three part vocal harmonies, results in an original and exciting musical genre of which the ALIZMA sisters are the pioneers. World-Pop undoubtedly presents important intrinsic merits. Through their mastery of classical violin and voice, the ALIZMA sisters strive to promote and popularize classical music in the United States among, where, relative to Europe and other parts of the world, the need to popularize classical music is especially great. With their official album called "Tell Me How To Love You" the trio is introducing their original material produced by Tim Coons, Jens Gad, Krzysztof Srebrakowski, Wilson Richardson and Stephen Merrick. Their music is meant to send the message of Love and Hope for everyone. The lyrics are inspired by group's real life experiences and an on-going observation. The melodies are influenced by their life long classical music training as well as the their birth place, the Slovak Lands. The ALIZMA sisters' talent is versatile, as they are also writers and co-writers of all of their songs, both the music and lyrics. Their songs convey positive, inspiring messages to a growing number of listeners in America and throughout the world. The younger audience has shown to be equally receptive to ALIZMA's music, which is an especially noteworthy accomplishment of these talented artists. Indeed, this is one distinctive benefit of ALIZMA's music. "Listen to your voice, listen to your heart, never be ashamed, stay true to who you are", or "It's time to love and time to heal, let go of fear and find new ways, I want to walk the path of life in truth and love into the light." This is the core message one receives by listening to their music, which stands in sharp contrast with the all-so-prevalent lyrics that promote violence, sex and profanity in today's genre of pop music. While many would argue that songs of the latter type present artistic value, not many would disagree that there is a serious lack of morally uplifting music that appeals to listeners of all ages. Such is the music produced by ALIZMA. ALIZMA continues to perform live across the United States and the world; in fact, they have already toured in most of the major U.S. cities. Of course, their music is available in digital format, on iTunes and elsewhere, for the enjoyment of listeners throughout America and the world. Millions of viewers have watched their performances and interviews on major TV shows, such as "Last Call' with Carson Daly, "Montel Williams' Television Show, and Steve Harvey's 'Big Time', to name a few. More recently ALIZMA appeared in the Eurovision 2011 National Eliminations where they were voted by the country of Poland and came in third in the competition. They also performed on America's Got Talent, which contributed to the highest viewings for that episode of this NBC TV show. Clearly, the benefits of their talents are national, in fact international, in scope. 'Tell Me How To Love you' is ALIZMA's newest album (named after a song from their album) and includes thirteen selections out of which ten are originated by ALIZMA (Aleksandra Okapiec, Izabela Okapiec, Monika Okapiec) and co-written with Krzysztof Srebrakowski, Tim Coons, Jens Gad, Wilson 'Tex' Richardson, Stephen Merrick; and produced by Tim Coons. The album also includes two dance remixes and a violin (all instrumental) medley re-introducing some of listeners' favorite music themes such as 'Phantom Of The Opera,' 'Mission Impossible,' 'Over The Rainbow,' and 'Zorba.' Below you will find a description for each song and explanation of how it all came to life... and you will learn the inspiration behind the music and lyrics of ALIZMA. Beautiful Life - came about when Izabela (ALIZMA), tired of disappointments, and few let downs she experienced, felt compelled to write a new song about it. During the creative process she realized that it is natural to take life's ups and downs in it's stride, and composed a new song with an up tempo melody filled with joy and hope. Beautiful Life reminds us that in spite of difficult situations life is still a beautiful gift and all we need to do is open our hearts and faithfully look into the future. Tell Me How To Love You - is a song that combines creative energies of Aleksandra Okapiec, Monika Okapiec, Izabela Okapiec, Tim Coons and Krzysztof Srebrakowski. It was originated by Monika and Aleksandra. While working in the studio this song went through a major recomposing stage throughout which everyone's desire to create a song about healing, hope, light and love was combined. It was not an easy process at first but because it took a lot of effort for all five creative people to agree on the vision for this song. However at the end it came to be one of the songs that Alizma is most proud of. It aims to find light in the midst of darkness and choose life filled with truth and love. Strong classical elements and a beautiful melody captivate the listener's heart from the very beginning. Take Your Time - was written by Jens God, Aleksandra Okapiec, Izabela Okapiec, Monika Okapiec and Madeline Stone. The song is an up beat Pop/Dance tune with elements of Rock Music. The fast paste of our World, tries to take us away from what is most important to us, which is to Love one another and ourselves. The song is an encouragement to take time to love and believe in each other and to be there for another. It is an up-beat, melodic tune, which makes it for an easy listening. Bow To The Bow - is an up-beat and vivacious tune with defined pop sound in it's arrangement. The lyrics express the importance of being respected for who you are in a relationship and only when this principle is met the attraction could evolve into a deeper feeling. The violin solo takes over with a simple melody line introduced by the rapper O.T. and returns to the lyrical schema at the end of the song. "Bow To The Bow" is written by Tex Richardson, Aleksandra Okapiec, Izabela Okapiec, and Monika Okapiec. Produced by Tex Richardson and Tim Coons. Fearless - is a song of hope. It is meant to empower and bring out the confidence often hidden deep inside each one of us. Simple but meaningful lyrics are set into rich musical accompaniment and express how important it is to follow your heart and to always stay true to yourself no matter the circumstances. The instrumentation calls for it's attention with the magnificent piano runs, climaxing guitar solo and gentle sound of the violin heard throughout the song beautifully accenting the melody line. The song was originated by Monika Okapiec (ALIZMA) who wanted to help a friend who was about to enter a new school full of people she has never met before and naturally she was afraid of all the new challenges that were about to take place in her life. Monika wanted to help but did not quite know how to at first. Then the idea of writing a song about always following your heart, staying true to who you really are and not forgetting about your own voice came to life. Fearless, was co-written with Izabela Okapiec, Aleksandra Okapiec and Krzysztof Srebrakowski. You Let Me Fly - is a song dedicated to sisters' parents. It is a thank you note placed in a musical piece written by Alizma and originated by Izabela. It is a very personal song that deeply touches your heart and expresses the true meaning of love between daughters and their parents. The style of soul and R&B is present throughout the song and strong vocal harmonies add a great emotional contrast with the classical violin intro. Alizma is truly happy to share this very personal piece of music as part of their album. Hallelujah - was originated by Aleksandra Okapiec and completed together with Izabela Okapiec and Monika Okapiec. It is a cheerful, happy song. Hallelujah was written for God. It is a song of joy, hope, thanksgiving and glory of God. Hope for finding direction, in time of turmoil and uncertainty, as well as quest for healing while glorifying God and the Holy Angles were the inspiration for the song's verses. Choruses are to express God's Glory and a bridge was written to give thinks to Him. Wracaj - (Eng. Come Back) was originated by Aleksandra Okapiec and completed together with Izabela Okapiec, Monika Okapiec and Stephen Merrick. The inspiration for this song came from the fact that many Polish people have been migrating to England and other European countries in hope for work, often leaving their families behind. In this song Aleksandra had imagined how it would be to be the loved one left behind and constantly hoping for beloved's return. Haunting melody and instrumentation set nostalgic mood of the song but lyrics and the bridge express that hope is not gone and the arrival of the loved one is still expected. Wracaj is a quest set in motion for the loved one to return home and never leave again. Ponadziemska Kraina - (Eng. Beyond - Earthy Land) is sang and written originally in Polish language native of ALIZMA. In it's rather ethnic sound but yet extremely addictive melodic line ALIZMA sings about a land, a place far beyond the reality known on Earth, where Love is never an illusion, where people truly appreciate everything and everyone, where money has no meaning, where you can hear people dance and sing with joy - the realm still so foreign here on Earth but yet so beautiful and perfect in it's description. Zagan, ALIZMA childhood hometown, was an original inspiration in sisters writing. The song was originated by Monika Okapiec and co-written with Izabela Okapiec, Aleksandra Okapiec and Krzysztof Srebrakowski. Children of Tomorrow - was written by Jens Gad, Aleksandra Okapiec, Izabela Okapiec, Monika Okapiec. And............................
