Recorded in Spain during the summer of 1955, this recording captures the essence of authentic flamenco music in a completely un-artificial setting. Alan Brown, an agent for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, flew to the flamenco village of Ronda, where he found and recorded the master vocalist El Nino de Ronda and guitarist Carretero in a local bodega. "El Nino de Ronda Sings the Real Flamenco" stands as one of the finest representations of the real flamenco music available on record. All selections newly remastered.
