Adam grew up in a small community north of Indianapolis, IN. He was an active member of Carmel UMC, busy with outreach and mission work. He graduated from Colonial Christian School in 2002 and moved to Phoenix, AZ to attend Grand Canyon University. He immediately found a place in which to worship and serve at Arizona Hills Church. For two and a half years, he served as a volunteer in their Student Ministries Program, which included both Junior High and High School age students. This gave him the opportunity to apply what he had been studying in his major of Christian Education with a focus on Youth Ministry and Biblical Studies. His involvement in this ministry included a weekly Bible study program for High School guys, multiple mission trips to Mexico and Latvia, High School camps, and outreach events. His passion for praise and worship grew as he led the High School Worship Team, Catalyst. Catalyst provided contemporary music and led worship every Sunday for the High School, Junior High, and Children's Church, as well as, leading worship for camps and mission trips. He believes that to truly lead worship, you must be worshiping yourself, as you cannot lead someone to a place that you yourself are not going. He also believes that the college years are a time of discovering who God wants you to be and discerning your area of service, therefore, he started a College Ministry which met weekly for fellowship, worship, and Bible study. In the spring of 2005, Adam became a part-time staff member of Arizona Hills continuing his work as Student Ministries Worship Director. In his search of what it means to truly lead others in worship, and continuing to grow in his desire to worship our Savior and King, he began to write music from the heart putting on paper what he felt and desired in his relationship with Christ. After graduating from GCU in 2006, with a bachelor's degree in Christian Education, he began work on the CD "Chasing Daylight." His desire is that you grow closer to God by giving yourself fully to Christ and not to be ashamed of what others may think of you. As part of his continuing outreach, Adam also works at his local community center in the Child Development Department hoping to provide a change in our youth through his everyday attitude and actions.
