Product notities

Failure has never been an option for Miami, Fl bred recording artist and songwriter, 2explicit™. Born Guillermo Antonio Lino Jr. at Mercy Hospital in Miami Beach, Fl on November 29, 1985. Son to Guillermo Lino, an ex Jai Lai player who now runs and operates his own furniture business in Hialeah, Fl, and Sylvia, his mother who was a stay at home mom, who did way more than your average woman would do. At only 22 months of age, his Hialeah home was lit in flames, leaving him trapped in the house, after the water heater exploded in front of him. Rush to Jackson Memorial Hospitals' Trauma Unit, where doctors didn't think he would make it. Every organ in his body shut down, but some how through the miracle of only God, he survived; it was known then that he was here for a genuine purpose. Suffering third degree burns on over 50% of his body, he would then spend the next few months of his life recovering at Jackson Memorials' Burn Unit. Growing up wasn't always they easiest for him. Constantly teased and stared at because of his scars, he would begin to seclude himself from others and keep his deepest thoughts and feelings to himself. For fear of embarrassment when talking about his problems, he would begin to scribble his emotions on anything he could find; paper, napkins, his hands, etc. By the time he was 9 he had already started to get the grasps for writing poems. After understanding the power of words he began to express himself in more vivid ways. During his middle school years, he would begin to speak his feelings to beats he would make by tapping a pencil on his desk, to an imaginary tempo. By the time he reached high school at the age of 15, he was writing his first full songs, as well as, performing at various local venues. After graduating from Hialeah High, he gave a few shots at college but it just wasn't for him. He failed majority of classes and dropped out. At age 20 he enrolled to a technical school for audio engineering, SAE. At the time he was attending SAE he met DJ Laz. After Laz took a listen to his CD, he set up a meeting with him and told him that he had lots of potential and to continue bringing him music to the radio station. Upon completion of the program he began his internship at Studio Center Recording Studios in Miami Lakes, Fl. As an intern he would use the studios during down time, and record his own songs, working with Stefan Johnson as his engineer. He would go on to start writing working as an in house writer at Studio Center. In the summer of 2008 while still interning, he got his first single on the radio, entitled "Taste Like". The following summer he had a second single on the radio, called " Rock It 4 Me". He has since worked with producers such as CP Hollywood, Q-Beatz, Hugo Diaz, etc. And written for local Miami, Fl artist, Swazy Styles. In summer of 2010 he co-wrote and tracked vocals for one of Swazy Styles singles featuring Rick Ross, "You Already Know" while working at V.I.P Records under Eddie Mix (Former Power 96 Music Director) His music is influence by a vast array of musical eras and genres, such as, Motown, 80's Freestyle, R&B, and 90's Hip Hop. With other influences such as 2pac, Outkast & 80's freestyle music; he is sure to give the rap game a dose of fresh air. Whether he is laying down a club banger or storytelling to an old school flow; He is certain to grasp your attention. From his catchy hooks to his lyrical content, 2explicit has sure proven to be what the game is missing. The 'voice of the people', not only does his music rock the clubs but it is also guaranteed to touch on topics that really "hit home". After 10 years of grinding, you can say he's been through the many trials and tribulations that this industry will bring. His determination, versatility and hunger to succeed are what make him a force to be wrecking with; stopping at nothing to accomplish his soulful purpose of being the messenger for a world who needs a little TLC. Slick metaphors and sick word play for the fellas, then a raspy yet soothing swag for the ladies, a definite sound like nothing before. A true lyricist at heart, He writes all of his rhymes as well as ghost writes for other artist. His persona on stage is captivating, due to his swagger, and the heart and soul he puts into his performance; And not only does he write, but he produces, and mixes records. Talented with out a doubt, 2explicit is an unsigned hype to keep your eyes on.
